Digital School opens a master data engineer in Vincennes

From the start of the next school year, the school of web trades Digital School of Paris is opening a specialty equivalent to Bac +5 for students and professionals who wish to acquire a technical and business culture of analytical tools. Initially positioned in the web and marketing professions, the Digital School of Paris offers state-recognized Bac +3 to Bac +5 level training. Faced with the significant needs of companies for data professionals, the school is adding a technical specialization to its current post-baccalaureate program. This is a master data engineer operational from the next school year which is aimed at graduates of a Bac +3/4 as well as professionals who already have professional experience of at least 2 years in data technologies. . The key to this 2-year course, accessible in initial training and work-study (3 weeks in the company, 1 in training), is a professional certification registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP) at level 7 equivalent to Bac +5.

By following a course made up of 4 blocks of skills, students will learn to master data processing and storage solutions, to integrate AI into the design of big data architectures and to manage the maintenance of massive data infrastructures. To this end, 800 hours of teaching constitute the theoretical basis of this master’s degree. Classes are taught on the campus recently inaugurated by the school in Vincennes, spread over an area of ​​2,300 m². On the practical side, the establishment opens various work-study opportunities with partner companies, in particular at Alten Axa, BNP Paribas, or Engie, to name but a few.

A course adapted to various sectors of activity

After 11 months in business, graduates will have the opportunity to work in roles ranging from engineer to big data architect, including consulting and data pipeline engineering.
