OGEA Réunion renews the event Le Village des Indépendants et des Entrepreneurs. For this second edition, the red thread of the event relates to the security of the entrepreneur. Dorine Bourneton, the only female paraplegic aerobatic pilot in the world, will speak at a conference during the event. This second edition focuses on the security of the entrepreneur. This event gives entrepreneurs and freelancers:
– the opportunity to attend round tables informing them about the actions implemented by economic actors (institutional and private) on the annual theme,
– the possibility of meeting in the same place the General Directorate of Public Finances, the General Social Security Fund, the Bar Association, the Bar Association of Chartered Accountants, the chamber of notaries,
– the opportunity to discuss with all the partners of the OGEA Réunion network on their stands (banks, insurance, occupational health, etc.),
– finally the possibility of attending an exclusive conference led by Dorine Bourneton.
The first paraplegic woman in the world to exercise the discipline of aerobatics, Dorine Bourneton illustrates surpassing oneself, passion, excellence and daring. “At 16, the only survivor of a plane crash, I became a paraplegic. From that day on, I lost my legs but not my passion. get my pilot’s license 4 years later. It’s my first big victory.”
“Driven by my passion, I will fight to change the French regulations which prohibit disabled access to the Professional Pilot’s License and the practice of air sports such as aerobatics.” After 7 years, the way opens with the benevolence of Dominique Bussereau, then Secretary of State for Transport: he signs the ministerial decree which will allow a unique advance in the world! The GIFAS companies follow us and, with the Hanvol association, have set themselves the task of facilitating the integration of disabled people into the aeronautical professions.
“In 2014, I set myself a new challenge: equip an aerobatic plane with manual pilot controls and practice this discipline.”
After a remarkable demonstration at the Paris Air Show, the “Rafale” pilots asked me to be their godmother. “A recognition which today leads me to take part in numerous air shows and to travel the planet.”
It is this ability to adapt to change, to mobilize the resources of a team to achieve difficult objectives and this fierce desire to bring to fruition projects that some thought impossible that I share during my conferences.
