  1. That looks great! I’m going to try it. It’s just the kind of food I enjoy most. It has a variety of vegetables and isn’t “overspiced”. I might make it just a bit thinner (more water) because I’ll definitely have it with rice. THANKS  for taking the time to show this on YouTube! (PS: I checked out your website and I will be spending a lot of time there, I know.)

  2. I’m glad I found this recipe via video! And btw, is that Vietnamese music in the background?

    1. It’s actually Chinese 🙂 It’s called “Praising Plum Blossom” and it’s sung by Liu Ziling 🙂

  3. this is so much like i make mine . looks great . hugs from michigan . have a great week and ty so much for sharing this very healthy chili recipe and yes i totally agree with you , their is no need for any oil !!!

  4. Dr. Joel Fuhrman has a good list of “nutrarian” recipes that are vegan in his book, “The End of Dieting.” He provides a good comparison between the Standard American Diet (SAD) and other diets including Paleo, Mediterranean and Vegan diets. He had a chili recipe but I thought I’d take a look at what beans you used. Thanks!

  5. Omg! Thank you SO much! I made this at home from your video and it was delicious! A lot of other vegan chili recipes seem very complicated. This one is easy peasy and SO worth it. It also was VERY inexpensive and will last a few days. My 5 year old even likes it. This is a win win win!

  6. When you mention tomato sauce, do you mean canned tomatoes or actual sauce, like spaghetti sauce or tomato paste?

    1. Like Kane – After she said tomato sauce, she also said it was tomatoes she had peeled earlier which she blended with a little bit of oregano and chili flakes 2:27

  7. I love that you don’t use oil – healthiest way. Can’t seem to access your web site … but I would like to.
