Can’t seen to reply directly. No. I’m not making fun. Quite the contrary. Not to mention I have a very similar voice. So there’s a bit of narcissism hidden in that compliment. 😛
+doubtfuldreamer Sorry, it’s been a few days, I’m working on perfecting it! Email me at gmail (just put my YouTube name together) and I’ll send it to you when it’s done^,^* I’m so nervous! Haha
Not traditional, the kind you find in restaurants. I have a really good ramen recipe that tastes like the spicy ramen package you buy at the store, if you want it. All vegan, of course^,^
Ah dang, I was hoping there would be no meaty flavor. I grew up vegetarian and was just looking for a veggie ramen dish, I don’t like the taste of meat. 🙁
+josh mancer I didn’t become vegan because I didn’t like meat. I enjoyed many meaty dishes. I did it because I did not want to support animal cruelty, and wanted to to be healthier.
+Toraay Love you’re confusing it with Maruchan’s oriental flavor. im telling you i have double checked with all kinds of ramen noodles and Top ramen (oriental flavor) is the only vegan option.
+Adaria Johnson nope, it is vegan. i’ve been eating top ramen’s oriental flavor for quite a while now. i’ve checked the ingredients and no animal byproducts whatsoever.
best channel if you are vegan or are like me, getting recipe ideas to feed myself and my family. recipes are healthy, videos are funny, and the ideas are always fresh. Thank you and please, keep making videos
Mmm. Im a ramen eating machine. I def trying this but Im going to make fresh noodles, to high of fat content in the prepackage stuff for me to eat all i want.
+Nahm Kim Miso paste does not contain fish or any other animal product. However, miso soup is traditionally made with said paste and dashi (fish flakes) along with other regional ingredients.
+vivian Babcock oh ok!! i don’t know if it was because a vegan channel introduced me to it but i assumed it was vegan! thanks for clearing it up, now i’ll know to carefully read the lable if i go out and buy some!
Great video! But it’s not good to boil the miso, you can put it as the last ingredient and just stir until it dissolves because if you boil it you’ll be killing all of its good bacterias! 🙂
I cried when I found your channel. I just became vegan and I’ve had a difficult time letting go of animal protein. But after watching your videos I know it’s a lifestyle I can maintain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I make my Ramen broth with Soy Sauce, Chicken Powder, Sesami oil, & Garlic & Ginger powder and just heat it up until it boils, then strain it in a strainer over the bowl. Tastes great. :3
This looks so delicious! I love everything about your channel! I was wondering if you’ve had a chance to try Veggie Grill’s K-town Tacos yet and if you could do a video on how to make them at home? I’m obsessed and it seems to be the only thing I order from there lately. 🙂 Keep up the great work and thank you for all the great recipes!
This is a REALLY GOOD recipe. My non-vegan boyfriend devoured this BUT I must admit the amount of sodium was killer. MY head ached for days so if anyone doesn’t eat a lot of salt, please get low sodium version of the miso if you can
This looks delicious!
+Louise Heiwood Thanks Louise!
Miso should NOT be boiled!
You have a fun voice. 😀
+Vacheli Iyer Are you making fun of me? 😉

I just found out about your channel! Wtf this is so awesome!!
+Evan Lee-Ferrand Thanks Evan! Did you hit the subscribe button? New videos weekly, plus more 🙂
americans pronounce worcestershire strangely it’s more like wuss-ster-shur.
If you boil the miso you are killing the bacterias and it losses his flavor.
This looks so yummy 😩✨😍
+Otaku Ana It tastes just as yummy- I promise
are these fresh ramen noodles in the refrigerated section or the dry/fried kind?
+agitpropartrox you can find them in both!
what does your tattoo say?
+Edgy Veg that’s very awesome
+Edgy Veg +Tiffany Younb just kidding, roughly translated it means “never forget where you came from” …kinda
+Tiffany Younb More cake, less salad…
The whole point of ramen is for it to be a quick meal.. hour of boiling? oh man
What about now?
+doubtfuldreamer Real Japanese traditional ramen isn’t a quick meal. The broth takes them hours and hours to create.
+doubtfuldreamer Sorry, it’s been a few days, I’m working on perfecting it! Email me at gmail (just put my YouTube name together) and I’ll send it to you when it’s done^,^* I’m so nervous! Haha
I would love it!!!!
Not traditional, the kind you find in restaurants. I have a really good ramen recipe that tastes like the spicy ramen package you buy at the store, if you want it. All vegan, of course^,^

+cookytrix I will 🙂 Thanks for watching!
to make best tofu scram, use black himalayan salt. just a tidbit
+Edgy Veg impressed you know this salt. i only just learned it when in india last year. it tastes and smells of sulfur
+cookytrix totally! So yummy!
is that fucking spaghetti?????????????????????????????? ramen noodles? i don’t think so
they most definitely do come in a not curly form 🙂 same deliciousness too!!
+bluefavorites it’s ramen noodles! You know, they don’t JUST come in a curly format.
you forgot to put the hot chili oil in the ingredients list 🙁
that’s what i ended up doing 🙂 turned out great
+Brianna Hildreth You can use chili bean paste or chili oil.
Ah dang, I was hoping there would be no meaty flavor. I grew up vegetarian and was just looking for a veggie ramen dish, I don’t like the taste of meat. 🙁
just skip the sauces and seitan
Why as a vegan would you still want meaty flavours
+josh mancer I didn’t become vegan because I didn’t like meat. I enjoyed many meaty dishes. I did it because I did not want to support animal cruelty, and wanted to to be healthier.
top ramen’s oriental flavor is vegan, if youre ever feeling too lazy to actually be productive. (aka me every night)
+Soph thanks very helpful didn’t know there are two kinds of oriental flavor.
+Toraay Love you’re confusing it with Maruchan’s oriental flavor. im telling you i have double checked with all kinds of ramen noodles and Top ramen (oriental flavor) is the only vegan option.
There’s beef extract. Double check the ingredients. ❤️
+Adaria Johnson nope, it is vegan. i’ve been eating top ramen’s oriental flavor for quite a while now. i’ve checked the ingredients and no animal byproducts whatsoever.
It’s not. There is I think pork powder in it.
What did you do with the veggies leftover from your broth? o:
+Edgy Veg What if we don’t have a James to eat our leftover veggies? Is there another dish we can put them in?
+Kara Nguyen James ate them! haha
best channel if you are vegan or are like me, getting recipe ideas to feed myself and my family. recipes are healthy, videos are funny, and the ideas are always fresh. Thank you and please, keep making videos
+Sylvia Moya Thanks so much for the kind words and the support! You are amazing!
Mmm. Im a ramen eating machine. I def trying this but Im going to make fresh noodles, to high of fat content in the prepackage stuff for me to eat all i want.
+Michael Shawn awesome! Let me know how you like the broth!
nice
I made this and it was so good!!!! Thank you!!!!
Im loving your raspy voice!
how many people does this serve?
Thanks 🙂 Can’t wait to cook it
+Stephanie Di Giovanni about 4 usually. 🙂
Doesn’t Miso commonly have fish in it?
+apple369 Actually a fair few miso pastes have bonito in them now. 🙁 Easy enough to check the ingredients and grab one without it though.
Yes it does, so make sure you read the labels! I know because I love miso so I have to be careful!
+Nahm Kim i’ve never heard about miso with fish in it. it’s a full protein vegan paste made from fermented beans.
I spy a vineyard vines magnet in the background haha
I love her fucking hair. omg
What did you use to flavor the beef-style seitan?
Thanks for the video. really looking forward to making this.
shes adorable
How do you get the noodles to be vegan?
buy vegan noodles! most of them are. Read your ingredients– you’ll be shocked how many “normal products” are vegan.
Can you please have a take on Philippines’ adobo?
Great video! But it’s not good to boil the miso, you can put it as the last ingredient and just stir until it dissolves because if you boil it you’ll be killing all of its good bacterias! 🙂
André Hira you’re right! And I don’t think it needs to simmer for so long. I let mine for about only 40 minutes on the heat and it was enough. 😊
That looks soooooo good 🙂
looks like a lot of work
I cried when I found your channel. I just became vegan and I’ve had a difficult time letting go of animal protein. But after watching your videos I know it’s a lifestyle I can maintain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I’m craving ramen so bad, I think I’ll give this a try. Lots of ingredients I don’t have 🙁
Explained in 4 minutes: takes 4 hours to prep and make.
so worth it!!!
$30 ramen how nice, with all those ingredients id rather make a better meal.
Keep up the good work ^^ ty for the recipe 😉 love u 😀
