  1. Hi! I am not a vegan but I respect everyone’s own choice of what they decide to put in their body. You should respect my decision, too: Even if you see me as a filthy corpse eater! Thanks!

  2. I’m not vegan but I do make often simple meals like salad, pasta, asian dishes veganized because I’m not a huge meat eater at all (haven’t eaten that for 2 months). I think these people should have researched a little how to make proper and nutritious vegan meals, it’s most of the time really easy. Shame on the asian too for not knowing what to do with tofu as well lol

  3. my gosh! guysss its ok not to like a diet, they’re changing their entire diet of course they’re gonna complain atleast a tad bit, change takes a while to adjust to but they did finish with pretty positive words. what more did you expect?

  4. Think how much more pissed off if they got shane to eat Ryan’s favourite food like that would be a better punishment

  5. There should be a balance of peope who are curious and not about vegan diet. Seems like all of them were dragged into trying vegan diets just for the sake of the video.

  6. No such thing at ethical meat.If you kill an animal against it’s will no matter how you kill it than that’s not ethical at all.

  7. it really frustrates me that they don’t realize that there are so many good vegan foods that are nutrient rich and will keep them from being hungry and tired. they keep complaining and it’s really not that bad??

  8. This video is so terribly made. And their attitudes toward veganism is even worse. There was no effort put into this video. All it was, was 7 minutes of people complaining constantly

  9. “My body is lacking protein” okay, then eat more plant protein? Dont blame veganism for YOU not eating enough.

  10. I lowkey cringed when the only delicious food the woman at the beginning could think of was avocados. I mean, if she had told them they could eat Oreos, French fries, pasta, ramen and a LOT of other stuff then this could’ve gone so differently. We don’t eat only salad.

  11. See, this is what I watch when I either ran out of buzzfeed unsolved vids or it’s nighttime and I’m nervous to get scared lol

  12. Being vegan is bad for you heath. You miss out on key nutrients and proteins! But it’s good that they eating fresh vegetables and fruits.

    1. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the United States’ largest organisation of food and nutrition professionals, states the following:

“It is the position of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that appropriately planned vegetarian, including vegan, diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate and may provide health benefits for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. These diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, older adulthood and for athletes. Plant-based diets are more environmentally sustainable than diets rich in animal products because they use fewer natural resources and are associated with much less environmental damage. Vegetarians and vegans are at reduced risk of certain health conditions, including ischemic heart disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, certain types of cancer, and obesity.”

The largest study ever done on vegan nutrient profiles states the following:

“In strict vegetarians, low dietary intakes of vitamin B12 and D, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids, in addition to iron and zinc, have often been of concern 25. In the present study, mean intakes of these nutrients were above minimum requirements 26 in strict vegetarians.”

  13. This being an assignment for them, I think they would have been more successful if they had been informed, prepared and just more willing to really try. I feel like they were forced and just kicked and screamed their way through it. That’s unfortunate. I hope I’m wrong. I would like to think that they got more out of it than they are saying.

  14. I’m not vegan, but we are health freaks and it seriously isn’t hard to go vegan as it seems. There are a ton of alternatives, more than in the past.

  15. I am in highschool and trying to go vegetarian but it’s super hard because my family heavily consumes meat or meat products like beef broth and such so I have to be extra careful and it is so hard because I’m still navigating what has hidden meat in it like certain dressing. I feel like once I move out it will be sooooo much easier because I’ll know that everything in my kitchen will be meat free so I won’t have to check food labels every time I get food. Sure I will have to check it at the store but I know that the extra time is worth doing my small part to help animals.

  16. I think if you’re considering going vegan you should start slow. Go dairy free, then become a vegetarian and then your body will be used to having restrictions so going vegan will be an easier transition.

    1. Being vegan is not restrictive. Being vegan basically means being kind to non-human animals & not wanting to cause unecessary suffering & death to them. It’s the least we can do.

    2. Samu Puuronen being vegan means you don’t consume or use anything that contain animal products. If you take a close look at the ingredients you eat on a daily basis, you’ll find that a majority of the food and products you use contain some sort of animal product. Going vegan definitely comes with its restrictions because you can no longer eat animal products. There are alternatives that allow you to continue eating great food and you can substitute different things. But being vegan definitely comes with its set of restrictions.

    3. @Reyna Vazquez

Animals are not food. Not consuming their bodies & secretions means not consuming what was not ours to consume in the first place.

I still eat all the same foods before going vegan – pizzas, burgers, cakes, candies, chocolate etc. Not eating animals means you just don’t eat meat, dairy & honey. So just a few things. There are tens of thousands of edible plants in contrast. It might feel like restrictive to non-vegan but in reality it’s not.

  17. Problem with this is they are being very closed minded and act like they dont want to try it. If you have a negative attitude you are gonna have a negative experience

  18. It looks like Daysha ( I think that’s her name) gained some weight…maybe it was the meat substitutes

  19. Why, vegans can eat cereal, potatoes, muesli with almond milk, and all this is delicious. Veganism is not only about lettuce, vegetables and fruits. Ugh.

  20. I really apreciate that you look to introduce vegan culture to society. I also think that these people need to document and educate about what would supose to our enviroment to consume meat from more ethical farms. You’ll find the information in the documentary “Cowspiration”.

  21. Excuse me, it’s called “Cowspiracy”.
Pst.: It’s a correction from the other post.

  22. When I turned Vegetarian, I hated it… ABSOLUTELY HATED IT… Then I traveled to India… The rest is history…

  23. The hard truth is that there is no such thing as “Ethical meat” – the practice of stealing an animal’s life from them, purely to pleasure your taste buds, when there is an abundance of plant-based alternatives available is unnecessary and therefore immoral. “Ethical Meat” is a marketing device, intended to give the animal-consumer peace of mind; it’s far from the truth, however, which is why many vegans are also activists wanting to expose the lies behind the animal farming industry and help people see how something as simple as buying meat from a store ultimately is perpetuating animal murder and suffering – and by extension our own suffering (heart disease, lack of resources & land, destruction of the rainforest, global warming, antibiotic resistance etc).

  24. There is no such thing cruelty free dairy industry. Even if a cow is raised on a grass fed farm, the environment suffers from sustaining agriculture

  25. No one said it was a restrict and try to eat as healthy as possible, it’s a vegan challenge go get yourself some pasta, French fries and have some Oreos or some dairy free Ice cream

  26. “I don’t feel any different”. Says the person probably eating mock meats and cheeses all the time and not enough whole foods.

  27. the nutruestionist did not do a good job of helping them , them- “ whats vegan that’s delicious?”
    her – “ avocados “
no actually there are tons of vegan restaurants in la she could’ve recommended, or she could’ve said vegan cheeseburgers or literally anything else

  28. I’m glad they did a punishment. Coz everyone doing a challenge on BuzzFeed cheats every time in every turn.

  29. I’m not a super militant vegan normally but when she said you can eat meat without it being cruel and farms can treat them ethically, I thought to myself “is there an ethical way to murder someone then?”
