    1. +Mycenaea I’m not a fan of celery, but you could maybe use some sliced leeks or fennel would be great also.

    1. +Joker Dark They are all on my website and printable as well. There is a link in the description box to the recipe.

  1. Hi Anya! Just wanted to say you are my favourite vegan chef! I have recreated loads of your recipes! x

  2. I can’t wait to try this recipe. I can tell already it will be yummy. I tried a few already and I eat them regularly.  <3 <3 <3

  3. This looks really yummy! Will have to try it. By they way, I just now purchased your Kindle version of your book “Vegan Made Easy Cookbook, 130 Recipes Anyone Can Cook!”. Looking forward to trying some of those recipes too.

  4. I guess we can leave out the potato, for people who are avoiding them. Is there something that I’d need to use to replace what it does in the sauce?

    1. +JE Hoyes Oh dear. Get them to read this:  As for a substitute, you could try some cooked cauliflower or some white beans.

    2. +CookingWithPlants It’s not for me, I love spuds. It’s for a relative who is avoiding certain foods that she’s read will inflame her arthritis. She won’t eat tomatoes because of it too 🙁

  5. The video itself is very useful and great content but your intro is so cringey. I don’t know if I like it or not. Great vid though!

    1. +KSMshadow1LDR Leader of KSM (Xbox Live) Thanks 🙂 The intro is a love or hate type of thing.

  6. ahhhhh I love love love all of your recipes, this one is deff next ♡ thank you for sharing!

  7. Anya, That is a great casserole dish with its ‘ glass lid. Would you share what brand it is? Thank you!

  8. +cookingwithplants where would I find tahini, in a grocery store? Is it with the seasonings? Sorry but I haven’t seen it❤️

    1. It is usually around the peanut butter section or in the health food section. It is just ground up sesame paste 🙂 Or try online.

  9. That looks fantastic and will give that a try.  And Thank You for telling me to use the Oats.  I am now a total Vegan and I am glad that I saw you on YouTube.   Have yourself a great day.  Cheers.

    1. You can just leave it out if you like. It does add a cheesy type of creaminess to it though.

  10. Everytime you do the taste test it makes me wish I could try some too. I so want to attempt this recipe. Great videos 🙂

  11. I’d love to see a vegan, gluten-free dish like stuffed cabbage, but that might take too long for the show. Maybe a casserole of shredded cabbage with vegetables, beans, rice and maybe tempeh. I love all of your recipes!

  12. I have been vegan for two years, i weigh 220 lbs , my weight should be in the 160 to 170 range. My fat percentage is a crushing 31%. I have been eating alot of oil, and calories. My morning meal usually has around 1000 calories. THis week I have started to eat the way Dr. McDougall says to eat and I am limiting my fat intake to no more than 10% of my calories with starches being the bulk of my calories and no oil. I made your mashed potatoes today and enjoyed them. I will be making this dish as well, it looks like a great leaping off dish, it looks like you could layer it with spinach or eggplants or tomatoes , like a lasagna.

    1. Yes, McDougall is great 🙂 Also, add lots of greens and steamed green vegetables for weight loss 🙂 x

  13. This recipe makes me excited, thank you, thank you! Can I use fresh yeast? If so, how many grams? 🤗

  14. Perfect!! I my mom gave me a bunch of potatoes, and I was wondering what in the heck to do with them. I know now!! thanks

  15. Thank you ! This is so delicious! I love it and the extra sauce is great on broccoli or steamed kale. So yummy! 🙂

  16. I like to see a recipe that does not use cashews for a change. I wonder if the sauce be also good for Mac and cheese? Have you tried it?

  17. ahhh damn!. thank you. im not gonna make this recipe but you helped me invent a new sauce for my potato casserole bake thing. xo

  18. I made this even more lazily by throwing everything in the instant pot and setting it on manual for 10 minutes, perfection! Thank you!! 🙂

  19. By any chance are you related to Christian music singer Rebecca St. James? You remind me so much of her. She’s also an Aussie — from Perth.

  20. I made this potato bake and although it looks creamy it is more like a potato soup and tastes nothing like alfredo sauce. I also followed the recipe and found there was way too much sauce and too many potatoes. You really need to tweek the measurements for this recipe.
