  1. i started eating a vegan diet about a week ago after binge watching multiple videos. you definitely need to try “king oyster mushrooms” they are so amazing!! i know you’ll love them

    1. +Rosey Annette it actually did cost about $20 for the things used in the video! But I bought a bunch of other stuff when i was at the store too! Haha

  2. I love how you included all the commentary about your personal experience like buying new bread because it went stale and you had to buy an immersion blender #nofilter

  3. love your happy attitude! really informative, I just became vegetarian around the same time u became vegan – I would love to see more videos like this, I’m a student so it’s hard for me to take a ton of time on dinner recipes

  4. Those recipes look terrifying to me (I have the taste of 3 year old) but I wanna eat vegan for a week. I already eat salad for lunch and a smoothie for breakfast so I feel like it wouldn’t be a HUGE adjustment.

    1. +McKenna Kane the easiest vegan meals are rice, beans, whatever veggies you like and your favorite salsa! You can get more creative if you want but that is always a go to for me πŸ™‚

  5. That Buzzfeed article looked so interesting, I’m glad to see you you tested them out for us!! πŸ™‚ that sweet potato bowl looks super good!

    1. +Secret Plan Productions My aunt is a vet and she says it’s fine for dogs to eat vegan/vegetarian, but not really cats so it definitely won’t harm willow!

    2. You really shouldnt feed your dog vegan/vegetarian food unless it’s for health reasons. They’re carnivores, so they live off meat and p much nothing else. At least check with your vet first before harming your dog like that.

    3. +Leslie Bowlus yeah! I give my dog the Nature Balance Vegetarian Formula! She loves it and it has great reviews! I’m taking her into the vet for a check up soon just to make sure but I feel like it has given her a lot more energy!

  6. I love your attitude! You are so bright and uplifting, even though it didn’t go as perfectly as you would’ve liked, and had some hiccups with it, the recipes all looked like they would be really good, tasty and HEALTHY. I will try the variation of stir fry, we usually do that once every other week already, and I totally want to try the soup and sandwich, that looked so good. Also you could blend hot soups in your blender if you already have one, no real need for the immersion blenders, but I hear they can be nice to have. Keep it up Dani! Loved this video.

  7. Thanks so much for these videos! I love getting ideas and inspiration for vegan meal ideas😊

  8. If you want the spaghetti to be separated wash it with cold water after cooking it…it really helps πŸ™‚

  9. so basically the recipes weren’t written well and the list of things you needed was also messed up lol

  10. I honesty wouldn’t be able to do that where I live! Lame. :/
Who knows the equivalent of a Trader Joes? I don’t have one here!

  11. I’m shauntelle, I’m 17 & I’m fighting cancer! Im Irish and I loooove making videos! It really helps me get through the tough times! I hope you can all check me out it would mean the world to me and I would be forever grateful X

  12. Are you rinsing the pasta after you cook it because that may be why it gets all sticky like that?

  13. Freezing the bread really helps it to not go stale.. pop it in the oven at 350 and you have perfectly yummy bread πŸ™‚

  14. I can have a delicious vegan dinner for $1.50 at home that would cost $11 at a restaurant. By the way, that $11 vegan soup noodle (or $1.50Β home made) tastes like a million bucks – I really mean it because it looked and takes way better than what’s in this video! If you want to save huge amounts of money as well as your health and have delicious foods, just go vegan and learn to cook vegan professionally. Don’t settle for boring baked potatos, steamed green beans and corns……Those are stupid vegan hospital foods, yuk!!!!!

  15. going to try out those recipes. Yumm!! bummer on the colab person though I wouldn’t have gone over to video if knew all those animal products used….booo so sad. thanks for great 5 meal video. πŸ™‚

    1. +Kassi Weaver Fallert yeah I feel ya! But at least people from the other channel who came over here might have seen and tried some yummy vegan recipes πŸ™‚

  16. Hey I just wanted to stop by and say hi!! I came to your channel from your colab with Jordan Cheyenne. I’ve checked out a few of your videos and subbed

  17. Also: Aw willow is so cute! I have a caviler King Charles named Jameson. Great pups. πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

  18. This was on my feed this morning and I really like it. I especially liked how thorough you were in explaining what things were missing or glitches. It is a pretty good challenge in general and to stick to it as closely as you did I think you made a nice week of meals. The one I would like best? Probably the sweet potato bowl, but I def would have roasted the chick peas with everything else. Thanks so much Dani, that looked like a lot of=) work

  19. Caramelized onions are typically going to be browner and softer than the ones you had. They will be almost mush and super sweet, they’re the only way I like onions personally. But you were getting there with yours, they just needed maybe 10 more minutes.

  20. Although everything didn’t turn out exactly right I really loved your attitude so subbing because I’d love to see your own vegan recipes!

  21. Thanks for this. I don’t excel at meal planning, so I eat too many mono meals. I am going to print out the shopping list (with your additions) and just do this week’s worth of meals. I’ll let you know how it goes.

  22. Some of these would be more like a lunch for me but I like the idea of this! I’m pre-roasting veggies right now!

  23. Interesting video. Instead of draining the pasta and the water, add the pasta directly to the sauce and use the pasta water to make the “sauce.” Also, salt the pasta water to add more flavor.

  24. Cook your pasta after your sauce is done. It only takes a few minutes and won’t be a clumpy gummy mess! PS-There’s no way all those ingredients only cost $20, no matter where you live or where you shop. Buzzfeed is a big fat liar, lol!
