  5. Yes an oyster mushroom recipe is in the vegan soul food cook book but where do we get em here lol. I’ve been frying regular tofu for years and I just used the vegan kfc recipe on YouTube to upgrade it so I could make it like fried chicken the last 2 times.

  6. I tried this mine DID NOT come out like this. I did exactly what she did! They were good but definitely didn’t have no crunch! Ok, so I did not do exactly, I didn’t add the milk.

    3. @Fineapple Vegan Girrrrlll!!! I tried this again and BABAY it was banging!! So I added the milk this time but I let the mushrooms sit out for a bit to “dry out” so they were not as wet and I was able to get that crunch! it was delish!

  20. Found a wild oyster that itself weighed 1.8 pounds so what do I do? I make your recipe and damn was it good. Made a few tweaks with seasoning and made this into a “chicken” sandwich with homemade chick fil a sauce on toasted brioche buns and I can only tell you this is one of my favorite recipes now, y’all have to try it!!
