1. Just made this for dinner and wow it was incredible. There are no words to explain just how good this was, and the recipe was easy to follow and put together. The best dish i have made in a long LONG time. My boyfriend had 4 portions !

    1. Sérgio Costa Hey! I know this comment was a while ago, but I made a tofu ricotta once and added it to this recipe and it made it sooo good. I used Lauren Toyota’s tofu ricotta recipe from Hot For Food! It was great! This is still my favorite lasagna recipe

    3. @2 Minute Topics hi, my mother is from the south and in her family they always used mozzarella (no besciamella). But I know some napolitan people ( in the south as well) and they make lasagne only with beshamel, without mozzarella. I think that in the Bologna region you can easily find lasagne with green pasta!

  9. I made this for my whole family last week and they loved it. My husband didn’t know it was vegan and asked for leftovers the next day. I did everything the same except I added mushrooms and meatless crumbles

  17. Made this for a friend’s birthday a couple days ago and it was absolutely delicious! Was even better after it sat in the fridge overnight. Having said that, for anyone looking to make this I would suggest reading the recipe _and_ watching the video. Admittedly, this was my first time making lasagna of any kind (vegan or not), so some of the hiccups were on me, but I feel like there was some disconnect between the written and filmed versions. In any case, I think this would be great for non-vegans as well because it resembles traditional lasagna so impressively.

  22. WOW. This recipe is absolutely heavenly. I went to culinary school for baking and pastry , but still learned cooking skills , and I’ve been trying to eat vegan/ vegetarian at least 3 times a week recently. Finding really delicious and technique involved plant based recipes is not super common.

    The ONLY thing I would change is just using a tad bit less milk, unless I just didn’t have it on high enough heat but it did take a while to thicken.

    Other than that this was spot on magnificent❤️ thank you 🙏

  24. Are those no cook lasagna noodles or regular noodles that you normally have to cook prior to making lasagna? Also, does anybody know of a good vegan cheese brand that I can find in the U.S?

    The only reason I’m not thinking it looks EVEN better is the lack of mushrooms (although you mentioned your vegan mince might include some). If you ever want to try it, add oyster or king oyster mushrooms (chopped and fried in garlic). ♥

    I just made this lasagna and it blew my mind. I served it to my mother-in-law who said said “oh well, there’s cheese in here, though.” Nope! The vegan bechamel is unreal luscious and this would be delectable to anyone, vegan or not. Not a complicated recipe either. This will be in my regular rotation. Thanks Gaz!

  28. Making it right now super excited I hope it works 🙂 it looked so good if you add caramelized onions and some cream jalapeño peppers diced up no seeds it would make a really lovely creamy cheese sauce for chips or nachos even like a Philly cheesesteak with the vegan roast beef
