  1. Just made this for dinner and wow it was incredible. There are no words to explain just how good this was, and the recipe was easy to follow and put together. The best dish i have made in a long LONG time. My boyfriend had 4 portions !

    1. Sérgio Costa Hey! I know this comment was a while ago, but I made a tofu ricotta once and added it to this recipe and it made it sooo good. I used Lauren Toyota’s tofu ricotta recipe from Hot For Food! It was great! This is still my favorite lasagna recipe

    2. I just made this today! Same! Soooo good. I mentioned the fact it was vegan again, and my 14-year old son said, ” I forgot it was vegan.” Says it all right there!!!

    3. @2 Minute Topics hi, my mother is from the south and in her family they always used mozzarella (no besciamella). But I know some napolitan people ( in the south as well) and they make lasagne only with beshamel, without mozzarella. I think that in the Bologna region you can easily find lasagne with green pasta!

  2. Just come across your channel by fate, and that is the BEST Vegan lasagna I’ve seen! Definitely going to cook 😋

  3. It’s freaking me out that you put the bechamel sauce and mince in the same layer! Have I been doing it wrong my whole life by keeping them separate!!? 😅

  4. Ugg I want a lasagna that doesn’t have squash, cucumber, zucchini, or eggplants or mushrooms… Is that too much to ask? 😂🤣

  5. Could we see you clean shaven without a beard? That would be Gold!!! Is the jar Portuguese ceramic? Looks like it!

  6. I just made this and it absolutely blew my mind, one of the best dishes I’ve made so far. I can’t wait to make this again, it’s ridiculously delicious!

  7. Sometimes I come back here just to watch this masterpiece of a dish be assembled again

  8. What is the brand and product of vegan meat in the states? Anyone that can help thanks in advance. 😍

  9. I made this for my whole family last week and they loved it. My husband didn’t know it was vegan and asked for leftovers the next day. I did everything the same except I added mushrooms and meatless crumbles

  10. Made this lasagna today – one of the best things I’ve ever cooked . The infused milk was a life changer !

  11. It is now laying in the oven. Can’t wait to get it out ☺️. If you are noob in kitchen like me, watch out when you pour the milk into the flour with butter, once a piece of onion comes out of the pot, it is gonna sprinkle all over the place 😅 pour in gently

  12. Made this and it was fantastic. Even better 1-2 days later. I added 2x the cheese plus nutritional yeast.

  13. Poor gaz… one hint for you: Italians we just block them and ignore… always too much drama for nothing

  14. Thank you for the word about recycling! I’ll try this recipe on my upcoming day off. I already have a grocery list.

  15. I’ll use lots of mushrooms to replace the mince and almond or coconut milk to replace the soy. Yum!! I can’t wait to try this!

  16. Very nice lasagna you have sir. My wife’s vegan lasagna is amazing. Both vegan and non-vegan are amazed.
    Love your show.
    Idea.
1 episode of other vegan chefs show there vegan brief video montage and do a lasagna lovers show. This is the one of the main comfort foods that people love. Thank you for your show and work talent.

  17. Made this for a friend’s birthday a couple days ago and it was absolutely delicious! Was even better after it sat in the fridge overnight. Having said that, for anyone looking to make this I would suggest reading the recipe _and_ watching the video. Admittedly, this was my first time making lasagna of any kind (vegan or not), so some of the hiccups were on me, but I feel like there was some disconnect between the written and filmed versions. In any case, I think this would be great for non-vegans as well because it resembles traditional lasagna so impressively.

  18. This lasagne is delicious. Thank you for the incredible recipe. It doesn’t even need noodles. The flavors are incredible. Thank you Gaz.

  19. I made this last night and it was delicious. Definitely the best lasagna I have ever eaten. I am pretty new to cooking and although this recipe seemed advanced I was able to do it and it was so worth the effort. Thanks @avantgardevegan for sharing this amazing recipe!

  20. I hope you are having Canesten ointment for dessert as the amount of yeast in these ridiculous vegan knock offs makes my digestive tract and PH levels quake in their boots! No wonder all you vegans end up with major digestive problems e.g. coeliac

  21. I’m Italian and I started to follow your channel since few months. I’m not vegan but watching u, I’m surprised about beautiful veggie world. I respect this version of lasagna. I can’t wait to cook soon, hoping to find veg meat… R u using vegetable milk and butter? Great

  22. WOW. This recipe is absolutely heavenly. I went to culinary school for baking and pastry , but still learned cooking skills , and I’ve been trying to eat vegan/ vegetarian at least 3 times a week recently. Finding really delicious and technique involved plant based recipes is not super common.

The ONLY thing I would change is just using a tad bit less milk, unless I just didn’t have it on high enough heat but it did take a while to thicken.

Other than that this was spot on magnificent❤️ thank you 🙏

  23. This has become a firm staple and go-to recipe and I have to use all the ragout, so it turns out rather large-ish, but two teenage appetites make easy work of it….

  24. Are those no cook lasagna noodles or regular noodles that you normally have to cook prior to making lasagna? Also, does anybody know of a good vegan cheese brand that I can find in the U.S?

  25. Finally a lasagne that looks almost as nice as mine 😛
The only reason I’m not thinking it looks EVEN better is the lack of mushrooms (although you mentioned your vegan mince might include some). If you ever want to try it, add oyster or king oyster mushrooms (chopped and fried in garlic). ♥

  26. FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just made this lasagna and it blew my mind. I served it to my mother-in-law who said said “oh well, there’s cheese in here, though.” Nope! The vegan bechamel is unreal luscious and this would be delectable to anyone, vegan or not. Not a complicated recipe either. This will be in my regular rotation. Thanks Gaz!

  27. I follow a predominately WFPB diet and make a lasagna that I love but this looks awesome and I am definitely going to try it and I’m sure have it in the rotation! Thanks!!

  28. Making it right now super excited I hope it works 🙂 it looked so good if you add caramelized onions and some cream jalapeño peppers diced up no seeds it would make a really lovely creamy cheese sauce for chips or nachos even like a Philly cheesesteak with the vegan roast beef

  29. Watching this 3 years after it was released, and it’s so cool to see you evolve through your journey! Love this video!

  30. Seriously I’d the best lasagna I’ve EVER had. We swapped green bell peppers for the celery and it was FABULOUS!!!

  31. Oh dear! It’s 3am and I’m starving now..I must get some of that low level lighting as well haha ☺🇬🇧
