  1. Just to make sure.. there green onion, chives and scallions. What you used was it green onions for sure?

  2. I made your orange tofu yesterday and it was the first recipe with tofu that was successful. My whole family enjoyed it. Iโ€™ll be making tofu more often now. Iโ€™m also looking forward to trying more of your tofu recipes. Thank you so much!

  3. Hiiii please can you let me know if the white vinegar can be switched out to rice vinegar in the last recipe ?

  4. Would the cornstarch on the outside of the tofu also help with the thickening process?
As in, working alongside the cornstarch already in the sauce

    1. Hi! Yes if you cook the tofu for a long time in the sauce, it can help thicken it. This is more of a braising technique. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I made the orange tofu for my family and my mom (who hates tofu) loved it! I’ll definitely be trying out some more of your recipes!!

  6. I tried the last recipe out with minor changes and I have to be honest it was horrendous. My advice to anyone making would be don’t use just any light soy or ketchup of your choice try to get the exact same ingredients as her because not everything tastes as nice. I did replace maple syrup with normal sugar too perhaps don’t do that. I replaced the white vinegar with rice vinegar too. All in all I think she probably makes really nice stuff but things go wrong when you try and get similar ingredients but not the exact same…Gochujang was a bit overpowering though I would rather put a teaspoon of that, I feel nausseated from the gochujang…

    1. I think you tried to replace too many things at once and thatโ€™s why it didnโ€™t really work. You might find it easier to follow recipes exactly the first time you make the dish, then when you make it again you can adjust it to what you think will be nice.

    2. @Jo No I understand what you’re saying but I only changed 2 things and she mentioned herself that maple syrup can be changed to some other sweetener. I think the brand of things rather makes a difference. Plus I don’t know if when she says a tablespoon gochujang it’s an actual tablespoon like in european countries that’s 15ml to be precise. Gochujang was super overpowering and even if i got the exact same brands of things that she used, I would not put a tablespoon personally. Teaspoon (5ml) max…

  7. These look amazing! Iโ€™m going to save this video and try them all! Always looking for new ways to cook up tofu! Thank you!

  8. Love you, you saved my tomorrow. Lol but really, probably I’ll do the 3rd one for tomorrow. Cute steering spoon

  9. Just did the sweet and spicy tofu recipe and the sauce is so delicious! Thanks so much for this video

  10. Tried the first recipe & it was delicious even babe (who usually hates tofu) loved it !!!
    Thanks for sharing girl โค๏ธ

  11. the spicy tofu was so good. a little too spicy for my liking but i enjoyed every spoon of it. this recipe was exactly what i was looking for.

  12. I just bought tofu but have no idea what recipe to work with it. This is just perfect. Thank you.

  13. Omg ! I made the orange tofu for my extra picky toddler and he absolutely loved it. Thank you very much!!

  14. Lady I have to pause and restart your video like 6 times you go too fast and it’s not fair to your viewers that you really need to slow down your whole video I was getting frustrated like it doesn’t take someone to seconds to write something down you need to chill like f***

  15. just made ginger sesame, it was the best thing ever. Can’t wait to try your other recipes. ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Yummmm๐Ÿ˜‹Thank you very much for sharing ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ’š

  17. I skip the cornstarch alltogether. too much trouble.
just straight up fry the tofu. still gets crispy

  18. Just tried this and itโ€™s sooo good! Thank you! I pan fried the tofu without coating it with any flour and it turned out great. Also, instead of adding sugar into the sauce, I just added another 1/2 tbsp of maple syrup. Instead of cornstarch for the sauce I used all purpose flour. I made the mistake of using TOO much grated ginger so be careful about that I forgot to measure. Another tip is I found out I prefer my veggies steamed and to the side so if you like your veggies raw/steamed not necessarily coated in ginger sauce just skip on cooking them in with the sauce. All in all great recipe thank you! I will be trying the other two some other day for sure.

  19. Are you Canadian by chance, I am and use maple syrup as a sugar in most of my sauces lol โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

    1. No but I have family in Canada so whenever I’m there I consume huge amounts of maple syrup and also pack bottles of maple syrup (and lots of maple candy too lol) to take back home haha. Maple syrup is life ๐Ÿฅบ

  20. ๐Ÿ˜ป Love this… I’m gonna try all three sauces. Thank you for this…๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿ‘

  21. Making the 2nd one right now and it smells so good ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Update: It was so good! I have made tofu twice and each time I’ve loved it. I’m not a vegetarian or vegan btw, but I’ve been craving tofu for DAYS. This really hit the spot <3
I hope I can get around to ge other 2 recipes in this video ๐Ÿฅฐ

  22. First of all, I wanna praise your voice. It’s just so soothing and have clear pronunciation. I’m not a native, so I tend to look for asmr cooking videos for the abroad video ones. BUT, I can understand you. I feel like crying, I still have difficulty in listening, but this one is really ๐Ÿ˜ฃ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ‘ (I mean, I still use the generated subs, but your pronunciation helps me to focus more on the video rather than the subs)

Second of all, thanks for the recipe! My family is small, so I tend to cook simple recipe.

Ps. What would you recommend if I don’t use gochujang? Can we just use regular chilli sauce?

    1. Hi, thank you ๐Ÿฅบ for the gochujang, you can use other chili sauce you have. Sriracha is great too! Thought of choice this’ll change the consistency a bit since gochujang is very thick compared to other chili sauces. Hope this helps!!
