  8. Hi from the UK. Love your videos which are so uplifting!! I see you have a Berkey water filter behind you. We currently have a old Nikken and was wondering about changing to a Berkey but was worried because it is not see through and so can’t see the water levels and I have heard this can be an issue. Would really appreciate you or anyone saying how they have found them.

  9. In this part of the world we hoist the baby on mama’s back so that they don’t obstruct as we work. I cringed every time you were peppering the plantain with that long knife right on the baby’s back. What if you were to slip and fall , suffer light headedness or become faintish with a baby and a knife in the kitchen. In the event of fire, you’re actually endangering the baby’s life. You could have put the baby to sleep before recording.
    Thanks for the nice recipe

    1. @Jae Hall Thanks Jae. That’s what I ended up using 350, but they were looking a bit dry; so, I dabbed a little more oil on them and lowered it to 300. It was about 20 min. It came out pretty good. I liked it.

  10. so, ok. Plantains look like bananas. Is it the same thing? or if I use bananas it changes the flavour?

  11. I’m about to make the meal, but I’m not sure the oven temp and for how long are the plantains baked?

  12. Bonjour Madame,

Je trouve vos vidéos très intéressantes. Cependant, avec mon téléphone portable je n’ai pas la fonction pour les traduire. Pouvez-vous traduire ou sous-titres vos vidéos?
    Merci à l’avance

  13. I ate it with the plantains the first few days, but I was yearning to taste it with potatoes. I replaced the plantains with potatoes with the last portion and enjoyed it so much better.

  14. I just saw a vidéo about your “déterioration”, it is disgusting what people dare to write, they must be sick of yealousy? You and your family look so healthy and happy, if only we could all be so healthy and beautiful! Lots of love from France.

  15. I just finished watch the Netflix series High On The Hog. The African food looked so interesting that I’m looking for some good vegan versions. Thanks for posting this and keep up the great work!

  19. Hello I love watching your food videos they’re truly inspiring. I have been watching for a while now and I have recently made a decision to go vegan…I have been a vegetarian for about 3 years, but I think my body as well as my mind could benefit from an even better lifestyle. I also juice with fresh vegetables and fruits daily, and buy as much organic as possible…so at this point I am trying to collect recipes and make shopping list. I am interested in knowing the type of cookware you are using? Thank you for sharing.
