  1. ‘What make you go plant based?’ ‘I think I watch a documentary on it.’ Please people. Study! You have to have bigger reasons for that. You’re giving documentaries a full trust that they actually don’t always deserve it. Do you think that documentaries are the whole truth? Even with specialized people talking about it, doesn’t mean it is. There are specialized people who think that meat is a super food and it’s good for collagen, protein, amino acids, fat. And then? What’s the truth? The reason it shouldn’t be because a documentary ‘told you so’ and you believe everything you see on tv, or I mean, ‘netflix’

  10. First of all thank you for this wonderful video and promoting more plant based type eating in the world. Education and recipes are so important. I started transitioning to eating a Whole Food Plant Based, no sugar, no/minimal added oils, diet about 2 years ago. On Shabbat and Jewish Holiday’s I do sometimes eat a small potion of animal products, but I am thinking of phasing that out due to health concerns. I have learned so much from the following doctors and highly recommended anyone interested in preventing and reversing many health issues through evidence based eating do the same: Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Neal Barnard. Therefore, Please do NOT use oil when making Beyond Meat! Even though avocado oil is the very best oil for high heat cooking. I cook it without any added oil since it contains significant amounts of coconut oil! It is a myth that cold pressed virgin coconut oil is healthy. It is NOT. The coconut oil used in Beyond Meat is neither cold pressed or virgin and therefore even worse. Coconut oil and Palm oil are high in saturated fat (just like butter and meat), even though they contain no cholesterol (plant based foods never contain cholesterol). Saturated fat clogs the arteries. They are not healthy oils. Best to get your fats from raw nuts, flax seeds, Chia seeds, and avocados. If you must use oils for cooking, then avocado is the safest/healthiest, and olive oil for salads and other cold foods but never for high heat cooking. There is a huge amount of the oils already in the Beyond Meat that you will see when you start cooking it whether frying or baking/grilling. Although there is no cholesterol because it’s plant based, the saturated fat from the coconut oil is a problem. Of course Beyond Meat is healthier than animal products, but is still prohibited for anyone with high cholesterol, heart health issues or concerns. As Dr. Michael Greger who is one of the leading whole food plant based doctors says “healthy compared to what?”. It is much healthier to make vegan burgers from beans etc. We use Beyond Meat as a very infrequent “treat” when desired. I would love it if you could make a video with your chefs for the perfect whole food plant based burgers without coconut oil! Apparently there is one famous restaurant in California somewhere that is famous for them. If anyone knows what I’m referring to please let me know.

  15. OMG This is all trash!!! Beyond Meat is just a concoction of fake stuff but it doesn’t have any cholesterol!!!! Cholesterol does not have anything to do with heart disease. Kim is just getting paid to say this stuff it’s all so obvious.
