  1. I find the easiest way to shred cabbage is just with a chef’s blade! I cut it into wedges (quarters or sixths) and then thinly slice each wedge. Slicing it on a cheese grater, or even a mandolin, looks a lot more awkward. Love the recipes though, looks delicious!

  2. For anyone who needs to avoid oil for health reasons like me… I spray the tofu lightly with liquid aminos or briefly dip into a seasoned liquid of choice, then lightly dust with cornstarch and pop it into the air fryer for 15 minutes or until crispy. The cornstarch helps make the surfaces crispier… it won’t be as crispy as fried of course, but still awesome!

  3. Love your ideas and presentation! Please try to use real towels, not single use disposables bound for the landfill! Thank you❣

  4. So far I’ve tried the tofu dish, and chickpea tacos. They were both really good! I wasn’t sure I would like the cilantro pesto, as I don’t love cilantro, but I don’t hate it either. I actually really liked it, and it made the dish! Thank you for these great recipes!

  5. Idk why but not even but these vid are legit so addicting the meals look Soo yummy better then the other vegan recipes I saw also who is ur editor!!

  6. I love your videos so much ! Actually, I’ve been tricking my mum: she believes that some new dishes I made have some sort of meat because they are really tasty. All recipes from yours.
    Lots of love.

  7. Why do you have to make SO many delicious recipes!?!? My house will never be clean because I’m going to be making them all!!!! 🤣 Anytime I want to make something, you’re the first blogger I search for. Thank you so much for your delicious recipes and great sense of humor! ❤️

  8. omg, idk if nisha will see this but i think i am following you since you had published your instant pot cookbook, made daal tadka and omg!! I never noticed your subs until now, huge congratulations.. seeing you grow since 50k i think haha.. love you ☀️☀️

  9. The fried tofu… can one reheat it in a microwave oven? Would this work or would it turn out horrible and dry? This might be a great meal to take to work.

  10. GIRL OMG!! I just made e chickpea tacos and HOLY CRACK!! Best tacos ever ! It’s the cilantro pesto for me , freaking phenomenal, I used and extra spicy jalapeño because I love spicy and it was so good I even have my grandma (who is not a vegan) a taco and she loved it !!! 10/10 definitely recommend 😍❤️❤️

  11. Nisha, I love your new apron! Do you mind sharing where you got it?

Also food looks delicious, and you made it fun to watch (per usual🧡)

  12. I can be really extra in my cooking and make stuff thats really elaborate on some days, but most of the time I’m super lazy. As a lazy person I can easily recommend everything shes showing here. I hope all my fellow lazy vegans/vegetarians out there give all this advice a shot. Tiny tip: If you don’t have a little spatula to help with flipping a fork works just as well. If the food is super delicate try one of those basket spoon things.

  13. Yum! If you’re looking for a more healthy version of these great recipes, or to lose weight, leave out the oils and substitute them with veggie broth. : )

  14. These look amazing! But for us people without dishwashers, a 20minute meal isn’t just that if you use a bunch of cooking tools that are not the easiest to clean like blenders etc. Washing up time is added to cooking time in my household because we don’t have a magical machine that does it for us 🙁

  15. Is there another name for chick peas?…. and all my life I’ve never gone to the store and saw any products with that name

    1. @Rainbow Plant Life Thank you! Yes these are always on the store shelves….I thought that was the one but you always say chick peas so I wanted to make sure. Love your content! 😋 So very kind of you to even respond!

  16. You have great hair……will you please do a video on what hair products you use and how you style your hair……?

  17. The crispy tofu with cabbage slaw was really tasty with the peanut dressing, but I was left feeling hungry 2hours later. I would love to have more vegan recipes that are quick and hearty, (filling) that are budget conscious using common household staples.

    1. Oil is a plant-based food. Some people are “whole food plant based” for health reasons and don’t cook with oils, but there are many different ways to eat a plant-based diet. Personally, I am vegan for ethical and environmental reasons, not health reasons. I also want to share recipes that are the most delicious and flavorful vegan recipes so that everyone can enjoy them, and oil is often required to achieve certain textures and to unlock certain flavors.

  18. I enjoy your videos so much! I’ve been feeling unmotivated to cook lately and this has inspired me to try all 3 of these! Thank you for doing what you’re meant to do and sharing it with us 😊

  19. So grateful for these recipes. My family needs more quick and healthy meals. They all look delicious can’t wait to try them! Thank you!
